Quite. My "buy it now" bit was tongue in cheek really, because Amithlon for
one isn't quite finished - though very close to it. Hopefully, H&P will
arrange to have a review copy sent to AmigActive as soon as they can now
that the deal is done, so that both XL and AMIthlon can get the coverage
they need. Eventually, there may even be a crippleware demo for the
coverdisks, but that involves a number of logistic and technical problems
which would need to be solved first.
I am doing what I can to demo AMIthlon to user groups, but unfortunately
issues of time and distance mean I can only cover the north-west of England
at the moment. The response has been very positive from those who have seen
it so far, and IMHO any reservations about the price will disappear whn
people realise what they are getting. The next meet is in Blackpool on the
1st of October. I'm also hoping to get to the WoA SE show in November, but
hopefully by then someone else (like one of the vendors) will have arranged
to have the products demoed there.
